• Ethically invest retirement funds

  1. Check out ESG funds (Environmental, Social, and Governance).  I spoke with a local financial advisor from Edward Jones and he said he helps clients choose companies that align with their beliefs (I have no affiliation with EJ).  Check with yours.

• Stay informed, but also check news sources for bias, some are surprising.

• Follow on social media or subscribe to newsletters of your respective:

  2. Attorney General 

  3. Congress Representatives 

     • Check GovTracker to find Representatives

     • (Save a shortcut to their contact info for easy access)

• Call / Write to Congress Representatives

  1. Can use 5 Calls to contact reps OR

  2. Use Democracy.io to easily write all of your Representatives at once

• Go to Town Halls

  1. If your representative is avoiding Town Halls: 

     • Request a Town Hall:

       1. Senators

       2. Representatives

     • Set up your own and film it.  Let different people talk and send it to the news.

     • OR invite a local Democrat, have the Town Hall with them, film and send to the news. (Someone else's idea)

• Find out what DOGE has done with your data - Fill out a Privacy Act request form

Voting

• Check your Voter Registration Status

• Attend Local Board of Elections Committee - participate & ask questions

• Stay informed on Can't Win Victory Fund

More Action

• Get involved in local and online groups 

  1. Check the Organizations page.  Can make calls or volunteer in other ways.

• Use your voice through social media.  Post memes, videos, thoughts, suggestions, etc.

• Join Phone Banks to call swing voters (through your local Indivisible chapter, Swing Blue, etc.).

• Demand capitulating lawyers/law firms be removed from industry boards. (Google Drive File).

• Write to universities/colleges at risk of capitulating.

• Write to SCOTUS about concerning cases.

• Write to Legacy Media - ask why they aren't covering protests, Trump's health, etc. and demand those stories.

• Immigration Actions:

  1. Get involved with immigration rights groups, volunteer and/or donate.

  2. Film and document ICE/law enforcement activity.

  3. Take part in either Ground Avelo or The Coalition to Stop Avelo (the company renditioning immigrants)

  4. Talk to local businesses about rights regarding ICE.  Use Indivisible's - Signs of Solidarity resources.

  5. Meet with your local police and learn their policy regarding ICE.  Contact your Governor and Attorney General to express your concerns.

• Get involved locally:

  1. Go to Protests 

     • (see calendar on Home for national options or under State Links for local options - help make a calendar if there isn't one :).

     • Join Tesla Takedown protests.

     • Record the number of attendees on our Protest Database.

  2. Join a Visibility Brigade.

  3. Work locally to get tax payer money out of Elon Musk's hands

     • See the Divest Public Dollars from Elon Musk - A How-To Guide, an offshoot of Tesla Takedown

     • Write your State Treasurer about concerning investments

  4. Petition towns and schools to boycott X/Meta or other oligarchs

  5. Go to Town Manager coffees

  6. Go to School Committee meetings

  7. Share local info for groups in flyers.  Check out these tips from Mass50501 for making them.

Art & Music

• Use art and music to resist.  Chalk resistance messages on sidewalks and more.
